Green Manufacturing
NatureWorks LLC understands that if we’re going to produce a more environmentally-friendly product, we need to manufacture it in a more environmentally responsible way. This is why NatureWorks has invested time and resources into options such as the purchasing of wind power to help offset our CO2 emissions at both our corporate and manufacturing facilities. In addition, we have established a source-option program to offer our partners choices for feedstock. We are also working with the recycling and composting communities to help ensure the successful introduction of a new plastic into their current processes. We continue to improve the life cycle of our product and search for ways to reduce our environmental footprint. This is why we make a better plastic. |
